Along with the existing Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) service, Energy Saving Central (ESC) are now offering Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) services for the Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire regions (also parts of the Cotswolds).
Landlords are required to comply with the Fire Safety Order 2005 to provide a fire risk assessments for the communal areas of flats and HMO's. The FRA, (amongst other things), requires that all portable electrical equipment in communal areas be tested and inspected regularly. Also, it should be easy to locate a detailed means by which the fire service can find the main service inlets and controls in a property.
ESC is now offering fire risk assessment for £99.00 with reduced cost Portable Applicances Testing (PAT) and Floor Plan services from a fully qualified test and inspection professional.
